Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Modeler to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in data modeling and a strong background in utilizing Azure Data Lake and Databricks. This is an active position with a high priority, offering a competitive rate and the potential for a long-term engagement.Key Responsibilities :Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models.Design and implement data structures optimized for performance and scalability.Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the data models.Work closely with data engineers and analysts to optimize data processes and workflows.Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database technologies.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when necessary.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Modeler or similar role with at least 7 years of relevant work experience.Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts, techniques, and tools.Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake and Databricks.Proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.Duration : This is a full-time position with a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
