Roles and Responsibilities,1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Implement and optimize cloud services to support analytics workloads, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency.- Monitor and maintain cloud resources, addressing issues promptly and implementing improvements as needed.2. DevOps Practices:- Collaborate with development teams to implement and automate CI/CD pipelines for analytics applications.- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure reproducibility and consistency.3. IT Department Collaboration:- Work closely with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of analytics solutions with existing IT infrastructure.- Collaborate on network configurations, security policies, and access controls to maintain a secure and compliant environment.- Provide technical expertise to support IT initiatives and resolve cross-functional issues.4. Automation and Scripting:- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.- Implement and manage configuration management tools for consistent system configurations across environments.5. Security and Compliance:- Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud environments, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards.- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement corrective measures.6. Documentation and Training:- Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.- Provide training and guidance to team members on cloud and DevOps best practices.7. Research:- Conduct research on emerging cloud technologies, services, and tools to identify potential opportunities for innovation and optimization.- Evaluate new cloud services and features to assess their viability and applicability to the company's analytics solutions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proof-of-concepts and pilot projects for integrating new services into the existing infrastructure.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and vendor roadmaps to ensure the company remains at the forefront of cloud and DevOps innovation.
