JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE Employee Relation Lead REPORTS TO (position) India Human Resources Director LOCATION Nagpur JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Hiring a potential HR resource at Nagpur t o handle t he complete HR & I R activities at Plant l evel. Also, t he resource will be responsible f or overall IR activities of I merys sites i n I ndia. Must be f lexible f or relocation i n f uture. JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities: ● Plant l evel coordination f or Recruitment of Plant associates and HR i nitiatives ● Plan, develop and i mplement wage and salary programs t o align with business strategy and external competitive concerns i n t he region for workers and contractual l abor ● Complete Management of l abor relations with support of plant management and Corporate HR i ncluding negotiation with worker unions, contractors ● Managing employee grievance process and consultation with plants on union i ssues as needed ● Serve as t he plant expert on union i ssues as & when required ● Ensure all statutory compliances at plant l evel wrt t he unit i n l ine with regulatory and l egal requirements ● Plant administration i ncluding Security, Canteen, Transportation, Guest House, and other administrative f acilities/activities ● Payroll Management with respect t o employees at plant l evel ● Management of Contractual l abor i ncluding t racking and controlling attendance, supervising t he compliances of contractual l abor ● Liaison with different government agencies ● Drive Corporate Social Responsibility i nitiatives at plant l evel ● Drive Literacy and Numeracy and Sustainable campaigns at plant l evel ● Employee Database Management ● Overall I R activities of all sites JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education and Experience requirements: Any Graduate with Post Graduation degree i n HR Minimum Experience of 12 years Must have handled HR operations at plant, Long t erm and Short t erm union settlements. Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics: ● Perseverant, results/action oriented ● Doer, able t o create value ● Well-organized able to handle multiple priorities and flexible ● Strong creative mind-set, self-starter, t eam player, strategic t hinker ● Ability t o i nterpret basic f inancial data. ● Excellent communication, able t o f acilitate discussions and prepare presentations ● Ability t o l ead and deal with senior managers across organization ● Good management skill-Computer l iterate with advanced l evel i n MS Excel and Power-point. Strong l eadership behaviors: ● Lead self: Is aware, develops self & i s a role model (seeks f eedback, t akes steps t o set t he right l eadership example, i mproves personnel performance).
