Position Summary Under the supervision of the Mechanical supervisor, the Welder operates and maintains machines assigned and required as per LIN SCAN standards. Key Responsibilities & Authorities Able to read assembly drawings and interpret welding symbols. Operates machine such as welding, drilling, etc. Maintain the machines as and when required. Keeps the machines and workshop area clean and tidy. Lays out, positions and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications Installs or repairs equipment. Observes tests on welded surfaces Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations Inspects grooves, angles or gap allowances Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry and welding techniques Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts Carries out any other related Jobs as and when required by the Supervisor and/or HOD Accountability Respects fellow employees. Makes sure to follow Lin Scan policy in respective department. Makes sure the correct drawing is followed Maintains department tidy and implements daily housekeeping Skills/Experience: ITI Technical certificate. ( Industrial training institute) Arc, Tig Welding experience. Minimum 5years of experience in engineering/design department for production of design/shop drawings/material submittals Prior experience in inline inspection is preferred Language : HINDI, English should speak and understand English Industry: Oil & Gas No. of Openings in India: 1 Powered by JazzHR
