Description:
Summary :We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Capital Markets Functional Test Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our Capital Markets applications through rigorous testing practices. Your understanding of the trade lifecycle and experience with Agile methodologies will be valuable assets in contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.Responsibilities :- Collaborate closely with business analysts, users, and developers to gather requirements, understand user stories, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the front-to-back Trade Life Cycle within the Capital Markets domain.- Design and develop effective test cases, test scenarios, and test data to cover various functionalities and user flows of the Capital Markets applications.- Conduct thorough functional testing, including regression testing, to identify and report defects in the system.- Analyze business requirements and user stories to ensure a clear understanding of system functionalities and user expectations.- Utilize testing tools like ALM and Jira to effectively manage test cases, track defects, and collaborate with development teams.Preferred :- Experience in testing securities lending and Aladdin functionalities within the Capital Markets domain.- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and best practices.- Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback from a testing perspective.- Contribute to a continuous improvement of testing processes within the team.Qualifications :- Minimum of 3 years of experience in functional testing, preferably within the Investment Banking or Capital Markets industry.- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including regression testing.- Proficiency in using testing tools like ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and Jira for test case management and defect tracking.- Working knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and test data creation (a plus).- Familiarity with Agile development life cycles and experience working in an Agile environment.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
