Job Title : Embedded C++ DeveloperExperience Level : 3 to 8 yearsIndustry : AutomotiveLocation : Chennai and BangaloreJob Description :We are seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Developer with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing embedded systems using C++ and possess a solid understanding of Linux or QNX environments. In addition to technical skills, the candidate should be familiar with continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) concepts and have a working knowledge of CMake for build automation.Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for automotive applications using C++.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and design specifications.- Implement software modules in accordance with industry standards and best practices.- Work with version control systems to manage source code and facilitate collaboration.- Utilize CI/CD tools and workflows to automate software builds, testing, and deployment.- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.- Debug and troubleshoot software issues in embedded systems.- Create comprehensive and concise documentation for software modules and systems.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.- 3 to 8 years of experience in embedded software development.- Proficiency in C++ programming language with a focus on embedded systems.- Experience working with Linux or QNX operating systems.- Strong understanding of build automation tools such as CMake.- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality code and documentation.- Automotive industry experience is mandatory.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).- Knowledge of software safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
