Job Description :- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator - L2 to join our IT team.- You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure.- You will play a key role in ensuring a stable, secure, and performant network environment to support our business needs.Responsibilities :Configuration and Management of Network Devices :- Install, configure, and manage network devices such as Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ASR routers, and VMware NSX.- Configure and manage network security policies using Cisco ISE.- Implement Multicast solutions or equivalent technologies (ACI or others).Network Monitoring and Performance Management :- Proactively monitor network performance metrics like bandwidth utilization, latency, and packet loss.- Identify and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal network performance and uptime.- Generate reports and analyze network data to identify trends and potential problems.Network Security and High Availability (HA) :- Implement and maintain network security best practices.- Configure and manage HA solutions for network devices to ensure redundancy and minimize downtime.Disaster Recovery (DR) :- Understand and support DR plans and procedures.- Assist in testing and validating DR solutions.Other Responsibilities :- Assist with network capacity planning and network design changes.- Document network configurations and procedures.- Escalate complex issues to internal teams or external vendors (NSEIL and OEMs).- Maintain good communication with internal stakeholders regarding network operations.Skills :- 5-7 years of experience in network administration.- Hands-on experience with configuring and managing Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ASR routers, and VMware NSX.- Expertise in troubleshooting and handling various networking devices and technologies (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, etc).- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices (Cisco ISE preferred).- Experience with Multicast solutions or equivalent technologies (ACI or others).- Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools.- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) concepts and configurations.- Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) principles.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.Educational Qualifications : - Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
