Job Description :About our workplace :Work with a 450+ member team in -namma Bengaluru- to solve challenges in ecommerce in countries around the globe.Get a rich exposure to culture and technological innovations happening across geographical boundaries.Ensure you have a passport and get a chance to travel and experience the culture up-close in the customer country.Your responsibilities would include :- Create scalable and automated solutions for problems.- Write well tested, auto-testable, auto-deployable code.- Own the project, lead and manage the team, and own communication with the customers.On a typical day you would :- Take the project ahead on the technical goals.- Mentor the other relatively junior members of the team.- Help in growing your team and other teams in the organization by participating in the Hiring activities.- Ensure effective translation of customer requirements, and business needs to technical solutions.About your work and team :- You will work in a team of senior and junior Developers, helped by a Scrum- Master to manage the agile ceremonies, working towards quarterly (rolling to annual) targets of the business for the Product and Business owners. - The offshore and onshore Software Architects will help you and the team align your suggestions on the technical architectures you propose. - You will report to the Engineering Manager Java Backend for regular professional growth.You are eligible for this role if you are :- Graduate or above in CS or other Engineering/Computing streams.- 5+ years of experience in software development and programming, of which at least 1+ years should be in leading a team of developers.You must have :- Good skills in Problem Solving, Analytical thinking, Data Structures and Algorithms.- Excellent hands-on coding in Java, SpringBoot, microservices, with crisp understanding of the development process using Git and code reviews.- Excellent hands-on development using Databases (SQL/NoSQL), Event Driven Systems, JavaScript, Angular, CSS, HTML.- Hands-on development using CI, CD and Containerized applications in Cloud (Azure/Google Cloud/AWS).- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Team Player attitude with excellent skills to lead.It will be nice if you have :- Passport to travel on a need basis in a suitable environment. - Better still if you have a valid US Business Visa.- Worked on high scale distributed systems.- Experience in running training and up-skilling camps.
