Job Overview :Responsible for the testing of social/e-commerce applications in Web/Mobile as part of a collaborative team. Responsible for creating test plans and test cases in partnership with other QA engineers, developers and client managers which are used to shape and check conformance to system requirements.Primary Skills :- Experience in the Web/Mobile App Testing- Experience in the Social Networking, Gaming Console Domains- Experience in the device testing (Mobile, TV, Gaming Console, Set-top box etc.)- Experience in requirement analysis, test design and test case development.- Working knowledge in the Bug life cycle and test life cycle- Exposure to all types of testing (including Exploratory & Ad hoc testing)- Working knowledge of Test & Defect Management tools like qTest, ALM, JIRA, and Rally etc.- Quick learner, adaptability, able to find the defects quickly- Create, Maintain, manage and enforce Test plan, Test Strategy- Risk analysis and management- Experience in the effort estimation techniques- Assists in recruiting new staff, conducting interviews and evaluate potential candidates- Provides suitable solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and client business processes- Derive a new methodology to improve the efficiency of the testing- Oversees projects to make sure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks and team strengths and assignment of resources across projects- Leadership Qualities (Instructing and mentoring team, Collaboration, Work allocation, reporting, etc.)- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Good Logical/Analytical reasoningGood to have Skills :- Familiarity with Agile Process- Experience in the Social networking domain- Able to configure the automation environment and run the automation tests- Hands-on experience in any of the programming language (ref:hirist.tech)
