Description:
Job Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer (QE) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities :Quality Assurance Strategy :- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards, metrics, and KPIs.Test Planning and Execution :- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and specifications.- Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms and environments to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.Automation and Tooling :- Drive automation efforts by developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.- Evaluate and implement testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Defect Management :- Identify, report, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and closure.- Analyze root causes of defects and work with development teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.Continuous Improvement :- Continuously assess and improve quality processes and practices, incorporating feedback and lessons learned.- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.- 3+ years experience in quality engineering or software testing roles, with a focus on .NET technologies.- Strong proficiency in .NET framework, C#, and related technologies.- Expertise in test planning, test execution, and defect management across the software development lifecycle.- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- ISTQB certification or equivalent (ref:hirist.tech)
