About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in safeguarding our IT infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), network security principles, and security products to design, implement, and manage a robust security posture for our organization.Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability scanners, across cloud and on-premises environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).- Configure and manage network security devices and software, such as firewalls, load balancers (F5 SD-WAN), and web application firewalls (WAFs).- Harden network security by implementing access control lists (ACLs), VLANs, and other security best practices.- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in our network infrastructure.- Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents promptly.- Implement and manage secure network routing protocols like BGP, MPLS, and OSPF.- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends and implement appropriate countermeasures.- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network security is integrated into all aspects of our operations.- Document network security configurations and procedures.Qualifications : - 6-11 years of experience in Information Technology and Services.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security implementation, troubleshooting, and operations.- In-depth knowledge of cloud security concepts and best practices for Azure, AWS, or GCP (experience with at least one is preferred).- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management.- Strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, MPLS, and OSPF.- Expertise in switching concepts like VLANs and port channels.- Proven experience with implementing, troubleshooting, and operating firewalls, load balancers (F5 SD-WAN is a plus), and other security products.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
