POSITION/TITLE: PROJECT MANAGERManage execution against project plans and delivery commitments. Planning the releases, working closely with product managers, partners' teams and engineers. Help ensuring quality and encourage innovation at all levels.RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate project including developing and coordinating realistic project estimates, plans and metricsEstablish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and obtain/drive mitigation strategies and solutionsEnsure all releases are delivered as per the commitment, meet defined release criteriaCollaborate with Product owners and application specialists to groom the product backlogTracks team progress toward milestones/sprints, using key performance metrics to objectively identify if the team is on track or not Provide both high level and detailed project status and health to IT and business leadershipServe as a central point of contact for project questionsChampion release management practices within the Agile delivery teams such as TDD, BDD, refactoring, value stream mapping, continuous delivery methodologies etc Drive cross-functional team activities and deliverablesEXPERIENCE REQUIRED10+ years of experience in program management of software releases in an agile SW development environment with experience as a Scrum MasterMUST HAVE SKILLSTechnical curiosity and a desire to understand how things work is essential Experience running projects using agile development principles, with knowledge of industry standard tools and best practices. Demonstrated ability to interface and liaise between technical and non-technical audiences, as well as presenting to executive management Monitor and report out project progress to all stakeholders periodically. Set the processes for project execution, as appropriate Detail oriented, but able to identify and communicate the biggest issues Decisive, action-oriented attitude; able and willing to own open issues and drive resolution Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills conducive to team development; able to work well in cross-functional teams.Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills; ability to motivate teamsPassion for continuous process improvement Experience with Jira Agile and other collaborative tools is preferred NICE TO HAVEThis role will likely evolve over time as the company grows and our processes change, so flexibility and ability to adapt are criticalExperience working as technical lead/manager in previous experience is preferred EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONBachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field-or equivalent work experience (ref:hirist.tech)
