Description:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a flue gas duct reconstruction project from start to finish. You will organize and oversee fabrication and construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to technical and quality requirements of the project. This role will part of an EPCM Type Project with a dual reporting structure, both, to the EPCM company as well as the end customer. Working knowledge of Hindi and high-level proficiency of English language is desirable. Responsibilities Collaborate with Engineering Team of the EPCM Contractor as well as the End Customer to determine the specifications of the project Key Member of Drafting Committee-Preparation of Tender for Site Fabrication and Erection of Ducting System Evaluate the Bids Submitted by the Service providers and submit the recommendations. Support drafting of contracts with external vendors to ensure the technical requirements and specifications as required by the contract are complied. Co-ordinate with End Customer for obtaining the necessary permits and licenses from appropriate authorities Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish Plan all fabrication and construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Through the Site Fabrication/Erection Contractor, ensure availability of all equipment and material and monitor situation to timely handle inadequacies Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues Requirements and skills Proven experience as construction project manager In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Good knowledge of MS Office Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Bachelors in engineering (Civil, Mechanical)
