The position is available in Pune, Chennai, and Bengaluru, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with 2 days per week remote. Job Description: As a Python Automation Engineer at MSys Technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing, automating, documenting, and executing test suites. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the automation pipeline and test environment, executing regression tests, and investigating test failures. Additionally, you'll track defects, collect necessary information, and provide recommendations for resolutions. The role involves staying updated on innovative test methods and procedures. Experience: 4+ years in a QA role for production-scale systems. Coding Skills: Strong coding skills with Python. Testing Tools: Proficiency in Selenium with Python, experience with Pytest and unittest. Automation Skills: Hands-on script development in Selenium, excellent automation skills in Python. BDD Framework: Familiarity with BDD frameworks like behave is an added advantage. Communication: Good communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to resolve problems independently. Duties and Responsibilities: Test Planning: Develop complex test plans covering all aspects of workflows and features. Understanding Architecture: Demonstrate an interest and capability in understanding system architecture and design limitations. Test Case Creation: Review technical specifications to create manual or automated test cases. Execution: Implement and execute testing in accordance with test plan specifications. Bug Reporting: Submit detailed bug reports with sufficient debugging information for quick resolution. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to test code changes and find bugs early. Tool Development: Assist in the development of tools to improve test automation infrastructure. Requirements: Python Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Python. Linux Experience: Hands-on experience with Linux. Selenium Understanding: Understanding of Selenium. Test Automation: Strong understanding of test cases, and ability to automate test steps adhering to frameworks and development practices. Scripting Skills: Ability to write scripts and tools for development and debugging.
