Description:
About the Role :We are seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Engineer to join our growing QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts across various applications using Java, Selenium, and API testing tools like Rest Assured. You will collaborate closely with developers and other QA engineers to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD frameworks (optional but a plus).- Automate functional and regression testing of web applications using Selenium.- Automate API testing using Rest Assured or similar tools to validate API functionality and integration.- Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts to ensure maintainability and best practices.- Work collaboratively with developers to identify and resolve defects effectively.- Participate in test planning sessions and contribute to test strategy development.- Execute test suites and analyze test results to identify bugs and regressions.- Document test cases and procedures clearly and concisely.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in automated testing.Qualifications :- 6 to 12 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.- Expertise in Java programming and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation testing.- Experience with API testing tools like Rest Assured or similar.- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, JBehave) is a plus.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
