Description:
Responsibilities :1. AWS Services Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various AWS security services such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Key Management Service (KMS), AWS CloudTrail, AWS Configuration, Amazon Guard Duty, AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall), etc.2. Identity and Access Management: Proficiency in designing and implementing IAM policies, roles, and permissions to ensure least privilege access.3. Security Fundamentals: Solid understanding of security principles, including encryption, access controls, network security, and secure coding practices.4. Compliance and Governance: Knowledge of industry compliance standards such as PCI DSS,HIPAA, GDPR, and experience in implementing and maintaining compliance in AWS environments.5. Network Security: Familiarity with network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), and security groups, NACL , Route tables, AWS Gateways.6. Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Proficiency in setting up and managing security monitoring tools, responding to security incidents, and conducting incident investigations.7. Threat Intelligence & Risk Management: Stay updated on current security threats and vulnerabilities and identify and prioritize security risks within AWS environments.8. Security Best Practices: Adherence to security best practices recommended by AWS and other security organizations(CIS).9. Hands on expertise on Security tools: Nessus, Blackduck, Polaris, Qualys , Trend Micro, McAfee, Any endpoint protection agents, Any SIEM tools (ref:hirist.tech)
