Description:
Job Description : We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with 6-7 years of experience in Selenium and Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and hands-on experience in quality assurance, software validation, and automation practices. Additionally, expertise in networking fundamentals and protocols, along with API and web UI testing automation, is crucial for success in this role.Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python for web UI testing.- Design and execute API testing and automation using Python, with a focus on REST APIs.- Utilize networking knowledge to validate software functionality, including L2/L3 protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing), MPLS TE, and L2VPN.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.- Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline using tools such as Git and Jenkins.- Analyze requirements and develop test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage.- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in automation and quality assurance.Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 6-7 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation.- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Python for web UI testing automation.- Strong understanding of networking basics and L2/L3 protocols.- Hands-on experience with API testing and automation using Python.- In-depth knowledge of Python programming concepts such as functions, classes, and decorators.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git), CI/CD pipelines, and performance testing tools (e.g.JMeter) is a plus.- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are preferred but not required.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
