You will also be responsible for enhancing our testing platforms, fostering a software craftsmanship culture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions for our customers and partners.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and deploy robust, production-quality code for microservices using Java Spring Boot.- Enhance our testing practices by improving test automation and promoting software craftsmanship principles.- Exceed expectations by delivering innovative solutions that delight customers and empower partner software engineers.- Monitor and analyze the performance of our applications to ensure optimal functionality and scalability.- Collaborate effectively with multi-skilled teams working on commercial and fleet software solutions.- Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and integrate them into our development workflow.- Leverage cutting-edge cloud development technologies to build and integrate solutions seamlessly with Ford enterprise systems.Qualifications :Minimum Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.- 5+ years of professional experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.- Proficiency in working with modern relational and non-relational databases.- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Harness, Apigee X).- Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms like GCP, PCF, AWS, or Azure.- Solid foundation in unit testing practices.Preferred Qualifications :- Degree in Computer Science or a related field (a plus).- In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles.- Familiarity with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices, including pair/mob programming and TDD.- Proven experience with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful web services development.- Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling, and data analysis (a plus).- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.- Experience working with Agile project management tools like CA Agile Central (Rally) or similar platforms.- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for collaboration with technical specialists, product managers, designers, and business partners.- Passion for continuous learning and a willingness to work within a pair programming environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to multi-task effectively and adapt to changing priorities.- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.- Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.- Understanding of fundamental data modeling concepts.- Experience in developing microservices architecture.
