Description:
Responsibilities :Leadership and Team Management :Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.Foster a culture of quality within the team and across the organization, promoting best practices and collaboration.Quality Assurance Strategy :Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards, metrics, and KPIs.Test Planning and Execution :Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and specifications.Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms and environments to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.Automation and Tooling :Drive automation efforts by developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.Evaluate and implement testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Defect Management :Identify, report, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and closure.Analyze root causes of defects and work with development teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.Continuous Improvement :Continuously assess and improve quality processes and practices, incorporating feedback and lessons learned.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.7+ years of experience in quality engineering roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.Expertise in test planning, test execution, and defect management across the software development lifecycle.Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Rest Sharp, Nunit, etc.Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
