Mandatory :It is a Production Support Role (24/7) not developer role . Linux , Troubleshooting & Kubernetes experience candidates should have.Required Skills :- Hands-on experience of Linux 7.x operating system for 5 years at an advanced level.- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Distributed Systems, Scripting such as Python and shell, Relational database (E.g., Sybase, DB2, SQL, Postgres)- Hands-on experience of web servers (Apache / Nginx), Application Servers (Tomcat / JBoss) to include application integration, configuration, and troubleshooting.- Hands-on experience Docker containers, Kubernetes and SaaS platform integration- Exposure and experience messaging technology like Kafka- Clear concept of load balancer, web proxies and storage platforms like NAS / SAN from an implementation perspective only.- Familiar with basic security policies for secure hosting solutions, Kerberos and standard encryption methodologies including SSL and TLS.- Strong knowledge SRE Principles with grasp over tools / approach to apply them- Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux / Unix admin, Storage, Networking and Web Technologies :- Experience in troubleshooting Application Issues and Managing Incidents- Exposure to tools like Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Ansible- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Desired / Nice to have skills :- Exposure to Big Data platforms like Hadoop / Cloudera and ELK Stack- Working knowledge of workflow orchestration tool like Airflow- Familiarity with NoSQL database and SPARQL- Capacity planning and performance tuning exercise- Identity management protocols like OIDC / OAuth, SAML, LDAP integration- Cloud Application and respective infrastructure Knowledge is a plus.- Experience in Cloud / Distributed computing technology or certification is a plusExperience : - 5 to 9 years in a similar role of hands-on application / middleware specialist.- Prior experience of working in a global financial organization is an advantage (ref:hirist.tech)
