Description:
This role entails overseeing ABS Batch operations, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a batch operations role. The ideal candidate will have experience with Control-M batch job monitoring and administration in both mainframe and Linux environments.Responsibilities :- Monitor batch jobs and execute activities such as Hold/Cancel/Demand/Force complete jobs- Administration and upgrade of Control-M- Designing job flows- Deployment of host modules and managing day change processes- Providing system maintenance support- On-call support 24x7, including weekendsSkill Requirements :- 3+ years of experience as a batch operator- Proficiency in jobs monitoring and failure reporting using Control-M- Knowledge of job flow design using Control-M- Experience with Control-M administration and upgrade- Familiarity with mainframe technologies such as JCL, PL1, Cobol, Microfocus, Eclipse, and host module compile and deployment processes- Basic Linux knowledge including Linux commands, operating system knowledge, ACL, and permissions- Basic knowledge of RDMS and SQL- Strong communication and documentation skillsDesirable Skills :- Experience with Allianz Business systems- Proficiency in Microfocus, Control-M, and Linux administration- Willingness to learn additional technologies.
