Job Description :We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript to join our dynamic team. The candidate should have a solid understanding of backend development principles and architecture, along with hands-on experience in building scalable and efficient server-side applications.As a Backend Developer, you will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust backend solutions that meet our business requirements and contribute to the overall success of our projects.Requirements :Proven experience as a Backend Developer with 4-8 YRS years of hands-on experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Strong understanding of backend development concepts, including RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management systems (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code and following software design principles and design patterns.Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative tools like JIRA.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisper, Codium etc. is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Candidates should be dynamic and willing to learn new languages and frameworks.Experience :Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript with an ability to write high-performance and maintainable code.In depth knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it.Good understanding of server-side templating languages.Experience with managing and publishing packages using npm (Node Package Manager).Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify and solve complex technical problems and find creative solutions to difficult challenges.Hands on with modern development tools and technologies such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, etc.What we offer :The opportunity to have a real impact on the company's growth and evolution.Work for a company with global offices and the opportunity to travel and meet your colleagues.Work on a wide variety of tasks which are often ground-up builds.Dynamic and fun working environment - we run numerous brown bag sessions, bug-finding days and after-work social events.We take care of you and offer multiple perks including special days off for health & wellness.We support you with our sponsored learning & development program (ref:hirist.tech)
