Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Windows Network Engineer to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of our Windows-based network infrastructure, including BareMetal devices and Azure integration. You will also be expected to troubleshoot network issues, automate tasks using PowerShell, and collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure optimal network performance and security.Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain a secure and reliable Windows-based network infrastructure, including BareMetal devices and Azure integration.- Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.- Implement and manage network security solutions, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell scripting.- Create support cases, troubleshoot IT issues, track issues, mitigate problems, and collaborate with product support engineers.- Maintain and update network documentation.- Stay up-to-date on the latest Windows networking technologies and best practices.- (Optional: Attend relevant conferences and training sessions)- (Preferred) Utilize Power BI and Kusto for network data analysis and reporting.- (Plus) Leverage Python scripting for additional automation tasks.- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience as a Windows Network Engineer or related role.- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking services.- Working knowledge of BareMetal devices and Azure concepts.- Experience with network troubleshooting methodologies and tools.- (Mandatory) Strong knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu administration.- (Mandatory) Proven experience in automating tasks using PowerShell scripting.- Experience in IT operations, including creating support cases, troubleshooting issues, tracking issues, mitigating problems, and working with product support engineers.- (Preferred) Intermediate skills in Power BI and Kusto for network data analysis and reporting.- (Plus) Experience with Python scripting.- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Strong understanding of physical server hardware and basic networking concepts.- Data center administration experience a plus.
