We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows OSD and Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows operating system deployment (OSD) and imaging, with a proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar role. As a Windows OSD and Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the deployment and maintenance of Windows operating systems across our enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Windows operating system deployment solutions, including image creation, customization, and deployment methodologies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement standardized imaging processes and best practices for Windows operating systems.- Lead the planning, testing, and execution of large-scale Windows OS deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to end users and business operations.- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Windows imaging, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures.- Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Windows OS imaging and deployment.Requirements :- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows operating system deployment and imaging within an enterprise environment.- Strong experience in SCCM with OSD, including creating OSD Task Sequences for SOE Images.- Good understanding of OSD tools like DART, UI++, OSD Driver profiles, OSD Windows 10 Update Servicing, and OSD User State Migration (USMT).- Expertise in managing SCCM Applications and Packages for OSD Task Sequences.- Hands-on experience in generating and maintaining updates to OS. wim and custom OSD Boot Media. wim.- Proficiency in troubleshooting related storage drivers while imaging, injecting drivers, and updates in wim.- Experience in providing technical support to fellow team members and global IT staff for system deployment issues and OSD processes.- Expertise in SCCM administration and deployments, including SCCM/MECM integration for software distribution.- Strong knowledge of package deployment, software updates, OSD with troubleshooting SCCM infrastructure, and troubleshooting.- Experience in handling tickets and supporting production issues.- Support for PXE Boot environment and Windows 10 image development (Task sequence) creation experience.- Proficiency in batch scripting, VB scripting, and PowerShell scripting.- Knowledge of unattended OS build and good troubleshooting skills of OS build and document writing.- Experience in architecture/design of Windows Server infrastructure.- Superior understanding of computer hardware and software systems.- Resolve incidents and problems associated with EUC equipment and EUC software and provide break/fix support.- Reporting and implementation of SCCM infrastructure, understanding of patch process, and software distribution.- Deep understanding of SCCM infrastructure, process, and software update.- Working with regional IT teams to troubleshoot OSD-related issues.- Hands-on experience in software distribution, delivery optimization, and patch management.- Experience with SCCM client remediation and Windows 10 device management from On-Prem AD+SCCM.- Good to have: knowledge of MDT, GPO, KMS, and related components.
