Role : Senior Testing EngineerLocation : Bangalore, Karnataka (In-Office Position)Experience Required : Minimum 10 yearsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a pivotal part of our engineering department, the ideal candidate will lead our efforts in delivering high-quality software products through rigorous testing methodologies and practices. This in-office position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects alongside a team of dedicated professionals.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical understandings.- Oversee and conduct a variety of testing activities, including but not limited to performance, security, functional, integration, and regression testing, ensuring software quality and reliability.- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of testing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and product management, to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.- Utilize and suggest the latest tools, technologies, and testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.- Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and recommend actionable insights for continuous improvement.- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and technologies, integrating best practices into the testing process.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a proven track record of leading testing efforts in a senior role.- Strong experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.- Proficient in scripting and programming languages relevant to test automation (e.g. Python, Java, C#).- Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and lead a team.- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g. , Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
