Description:
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber framework to validate software functionality, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and translate them into automated test cases.- Implement and enhance test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.- Work closely with QA teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze defects, and ensure timely resolution.- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to project success.- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.- 2+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Cucumber framework.- Proficiency in Java programming language, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience working in Agile teams.- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.- Exposure to Azure cloud services and experience.- Knowledge of banking domain concepts is desirable.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Location: Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
