As part of our expansion, we are seeking a knowledgeable Account Specialist with a strong background in Indian accounting practices and proficiency in key accounting software, including Tally. Job Summary:The Account Specialist will oversee the financial records, ensuring compliance with both Indian and international accounting standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, who is proficient in Tally and familiar with other essential industry accounting software. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage all financial records, including books of account in compliance with Indian accounting standards and any applicable international accounting standards. Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings in India. Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, perform variance analysis, and implement financial planning activities. Provide guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and legislation affecting the company's operations in India. Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial transactions and reports. Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and software. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA). 3 to 5 years of accounting or finance experience, with specific expertise in the Indian market. Extensive experience with Tally ERP and proficiency in other industry-standard accounting software. Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication abilities. Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Additional Details: Notice Period: Preference for immediate joiners or those with a notice period of less than 30 days.
