About the Role : We are searching for a skilled and experienced AIX Administrator to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and support of our AIX servers. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our critical infrastructure and applications.Required Skills :- 4-6 years of experience working with AIX operating systems.- Solid understanding of risk-based systems running on UNIX/Linux platforms.- Expertise in AIX administration tasks, including:- Installation and migration of AIX operating systems- System configuration and management (users, groups, permissions)- Partitioning and logical volume management- OS clustering and high availability solutions- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting- Backup and recovery procedures- Security hardening and patching- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AIX system issues efficiently.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong understanding of scripting languages (e.g., shell scripting) for automation tasks (a plus).- Effective communication and collaboration skills.Desired Skills :- Experience with virtualization technologies like IBM PowerVM (a plus).- Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting (a plus).- Experience working in a fast-paced and critical environment.
