Job Description :As the "Software Development Engineer 3" at Alt Mobility, you will be part of our product engineering team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge EV solutions while leveraging your expertise in engineering management. This role requires a deep understanding and passion for electric vehicle technology, engineering principles, and a passion for driving innovation in the mobility sector. You will play a pivotal role in building and fostering a culture of excellence within the software team.Responsibilities : - Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable backend solutions using JavaScript technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend architecture for our applications. - Create and maintain APIs and web services for real-time data applications. - Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of backend systems. - Optimize code and data base queries for maximum efficiency. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Mentor and guide junior developers when necessary. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 4+ years of professional experience as a JavaScript Backend Developer. - Proficiency in the MERN(MongoDB,Express.js, React, Node.js) stack. - Experience working on real-time data applications. - knowledge of JavaScript technologies and third-party packages. - Solid understanding of backend development principles and best practices. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong communication and team work skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Work with message queues, such as RabbitMQ, to handle asynchronous tasks efficiently. - Utilize both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, for data storage and retrieval. - Implement caching strategies using technologies like Redis Desirable Skills : - Experience with caching technologies, especially Redis. - Knowledge of message queues, such as RabbitMQ. - Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases. - Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with serverless architecture. - Previous experience with microservices architecture. - Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects (ref:hirist.tech)
