Description:
Job Title : Android platform developer. Location : Bangalore. Experience : 3-6years. Job Description : Key Responsibilities :- Develop modules for Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for In-Vehicle Infotainment.- Create modules for IVI platform and OS functionalities.- Work with Android Automotive framework for audio, video, and camera functionalities.- Develop modules to interact with Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL) and other Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs) in the infotainment domain.- Utilize Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS) and various Android components for infotainment development.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infotainment applications. Technical Experience :- Minimum 2 years of experience in the infotainment domain.- Proficiency in Android-based infotainment application development, Android SDK, Core Java, NDK, and Android framework customization.- Hands-on expertise in integrating AIDL/HIDL.- Application development experience for Media and Phone Apps, Navigation, Home Screen Customization, and cloud communication.- Understanding of Android components: Services, Broadcast receivers, content providers.- Knowledge of Hardware Abstraction Layers in Android.- Hands-on experience writing unit test cases.- Strong experience with Android Components and Jetpack library.- Proficiency in solid principles, Java design patterns, and Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM).- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and C++ 14/17.- Understanding of git, CI/CD workflows. Professional Attributes :- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good to Have Skills :- Experience in Android porting/upgrading.- Exposure to Google compliance testing (CTS, VTS, etc.) (ref:hirist.tech)
