About the Role :InnovaESI is seeking a talented and experienced Ansible Automation Engineer to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will play a key role in automating IT infrastructure and operations tasks to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost savings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop robust automation solutions using Ansible.Responsibilities :Design, develop, and implement Ansible playbooks to automate IT infrastructure and operations processes.Manage Ansible inventory to ensure efficient targeting of automation tasks.Utilize Ansible for configuration management, ensuring consistency and compliance across IT environments.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible automation processes.Provide ongoing support to internal teams and stakeholders on automation solutions.Facilitate knowledge sharing by documenting automation processes and conducting training sessions.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Ansible and automation best practices.Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automation solutions within the CI/CD pipeline (if applicable).Qualifications :Strong experience with Ansible Automation, including :Playbook development using modules, variables, and conditionals.Inventory management with dynamic inventory sources.Configuration management best practices.Proficiency in scripting languages commonly used with Ansible, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Experience designing and implementing automation solutions for IT infrastructure and operations tasks (e.g., provisioning, configuration, patching).Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git or SVN, for managing automation code.Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) a plus.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify areas for automation and troubleshoot issues effectively.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional) a plus.
