Description:
Client : One of the largest IT companies in India (Top 3).Role : API Automation. Mode of hire : Contract to Hire. Location : Chennai, Pune, Trivandrum, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Mode of work : Hybrid. Experience : 4 to 12 years. Tenure : 1 years+ Project will be extended every 6 months based on performance). Total Yrs of Experience : 4 to 12 years. Tentative Joining : Immediate/within 10-15 days (So basically immediate joiners and people serving 20 days max of notice period are welcome). Job Description : Role :- Minimum 4 years in API Automation testing in RESTFUL services, Java, Selenium, BDD cucumber.- Experience on Automation and scripts creation and execution using Rest Assured/API and Selenium.- Strong in API , Microservices , SOA testing.- Strong in Automation frameworks using Java , Selenium, BDD Cucumber.- Good Working experience in AGILE based testing , Web and API automation Projects, CI/CD using Jenkins and GITHUB or Bitbucket.- Strong in Financial domains knowledge Banking , Good to have skills : Open banking or retail banking.- Strong in troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.- Experience in working on Agile (Scrum) Methodology.- Experience in Jira w.r.t Test management to maintain test case and track bugs.- Strong knowledge in STLC lifecycle.- Should have good communications skills to interact with stake holders and with the internal team members.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated API test scripts using Rest Assured or similar libraries - Develop and maintain automated web UI tests using Selenium WebDriver Integrate API and web UI tests into a BDD framework using Cucumber - Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and define test cases - Execute automated tests within a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Git (GitHub or Bitbucket) - Analyze test results, identify defects, and report bugs using Jira - Analyze and diagnose API and UI related issues - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Stay up-to-date on the latest automation testing tools and techniques Qualifications : - Minimum 4 years of experience in API automation testing using RESTful services - Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented principles Solid understanding of API testing concepts (microservices, SOA testing) - Experience with Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation - Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber - Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred) Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Jenkins and Git (GitHub or Bitbucket) - Familiarity with financial domains (banking) is a plus (Open banking or retail banking experience preferred) - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
