Job Description :We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Application Security Engineer specialized in Mobile to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in mobile security engineering, with a strong background in app shielding, obfuscation techniques, and Android OS internals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the security of our mobile applications and ensure the protection of sensitive data and user privacy.Key Responsibilities :- Implement and maintain robust security measures for mobile applications, focusing on app shielding and obfuscation techniques to prevent reverse engineering and tampering.- Conduct in-depth analysis of Android OS internals and security mechanisms to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses that could be exploited by malicious actors.- Collaborate with mobile application development teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring that security is considered from the initial design phase through to deployment.- Develop and maintain security controls and mechanisms to protect sensitive data stored or processed by mobile applications.- Perform security assessments and code reviews of mobile applications to identify and remediate security flaws and vulnerabilities.- Utilize security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Frida, and MobSF to automate security testing and identify potential security issues.- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in mobile security, including emerging threats and attack vectors, and propose proactive measures to mitigate risks.- Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices and mobile security best practices.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and IT operations, to ensure alignment on security requirements and objectives.- Communicate security findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical audiences.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mobile security engineering, with a focus on Android platform.- Expertise in app shielding and obfuscation techniques to protect against reverse engineering and tampering.- Deep understanding of Android OS internals and security mechanisms, including SELinux, ASLR, and file system security.- Strong proficiency in C++ programming language, with the ability to develop custom security controls and mechanisms.- Knowledge of reverse engineering techniques and tools used by attackers to analyze and exploit mobile applications.- Familiarity with mobile application development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin, and their security implications.- Experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Frida, and MobSF for dynamic and static analysis of mobile applications.- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Certifications in mobile security or related field, such as Certified Mobile Application Security Engineer (CMASE) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).- Experience with iOS security engineering and familiarity with iOS internals and security mechanisms.- Knowledge of secure coding practices and security standards such as OWASP Mobile Top 10.- Experience with secure mobile application development methodologies, including threat modeling and security architecture design.- Previous experience in the finance, healthcare, or e-commerce industries with a focus on mobile security.- Contributions to open-source projects or participation in security communities and forums.
