Role : As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in running regression and unit test for building robust applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build highly performant web applications.Skills :- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to join our team as a Software Test Engineer.The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in the following skillset :- Proficiency in Selenium Web Driver suite of tools using the KARATE framework and BDD cucumber, or similar frameworks, with a strong focus on API/UI automation.- The candidate should be able to design and implement robust test automation scripts.- Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and JavaScript.- The candidate should be able to write efficient and maintainable code to support test automation efforts.- Hands-on experience with version management tools such as GIT.- The candidate should be familiar with branching, merging, and resolving conflicts in a collaborative development environment.- Solid understanding of database schemas and SQL.- The candidate should be able to write complex database queries in both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.- In addition to the above skillset, the ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also essential. Skills : test automation,sql,api,java,behavior-driven development (bdd),karate,javascript.Responsibilities :Test Automation : - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver suite of tools. - Implement and utilize the KARATE framework and BDD cucumber for API/UI automation. - Design, execute, and monitor robust test automation scripts to ensure the quality of web applications. Programming and Scripting : - Write efficient and maintainable code in Java, SQL, and JavaScript to support test automation efforts. - Collaborate with developers to understand the application code and identify areas for automation. Version Control : - Manage source code using version management tools like GIT. - Handle branching, merging, and resolving conflicts in a collaborative development environment. Database Testing : - Understand database schemas and structures. - Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity in both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, with a preference for MongoDB. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams. - Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively. Problem Solving and Attention to Detail : - Identify, analyze, and report defects and issues using appropriate tools and techniques. - Ensure thorough testing coverage to catch and report any potential issues before production releases. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and best practices. - Contribute to the improvement of the testing process and methodologies within the organization.
