About the job :Skills : - Core Java- Cucumber and Selenium automation- Strong in SQL skills for database querying and data validation- Experience in ETL testing methodologies and tools- Excellent communication skills- In-depth knowledge of ETL and data frameworks- Strong analytical skills for defect identification and resolutionTools :- Experience with ADO Agile and/or JIRA for test case and defect management- Experience with traceability of requirements and/or features to test cases and defects and Expertise in technologies such as SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, Power Builder etc, ETL Tool Informatica, Reporting Tool - Tableau, Power BI, ADO, JIRA and Excel Macros etc- Knowledge about Big Data, Hadoop, Pig-Hive- Experience with automation tools, SOAP UI, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, etcResponsibilities :- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for software applications, with a focus on ETL processes- Utilize strong knowledge of Core Java to develop and execute automated test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage of software functionality- Experience in transforming complex Business logic into SQL or PL/SQL queries- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the creation of test plans- Conduct functional and regression testing to ensure the reliability and scalability of software products- Identify and document software defects, working closely with development and business teams to facilitate timely resolution- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in software testing, incorporating new methodologies to enhance testing processes- Participate in the development and maintenance of testing environments, tools, and frameworks- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work on complex projects and analyzes business requirements independentlyMust Haves :- Hands-on experience in planning, developing, executing, and validating E2E test efforts for complex projects- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills demonstrated through successfully leading change initiatives and client facing engagements- Hands-on experience in preparing E2E Test Strategy, Test PlanDesired Skills and Experience :- ETL- SQL- Selenium- java (ref:hirist.tech)
