Description:
Roles and responsibilities :- Performs the role of a test automation specialist - Analysis of requirements from the specifications - Define and write automation steps against the specification - Develop code to implement the automation steps - Prepare test data and Execute the test automation on the required test infrastructure - Report out the results of automation in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Participates in Review of automation deliverable - Work with product owner to define program increment and sprint scope. - Work with automation developers to realise the test automation for multiple features in parallel. - Identify and retire technical risks through evaluations and feasibility. - Identify and evaluate state of the art tools to continuously improve the test automation framework and process. - Own up the environment setup and upkeep of the same. - Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity.- Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions Core skills & experience - Proven experience in Test Automation in a complex high-tech environment - Hands on experience in Java, BDD frameworks, TestNG and WebDriver - Experience in developing all forms of automated tests in a test pyramid like unit tests, integration tests and end to end UI tests. - Experience in automation testing of applications in cloud and on-premises - Experience with setting up and maintaining test automation infrastructure - Good experience on automation tools, scripting languages is required - Ability to locate and implement improvements in test automation framework/execution - Good programming and debugging experience test automation - Experience working with CI/CD pipelines - Working experience in Agile/SAFe development methodologies - Good communication and documentation skills - Experience with Test (ref:hirist.tech)
