Description:
We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our development team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.Role And Responsibilities : We are looking for developers who show the initiative and thrive at tackling problems. The AI landscape as a whole is rapid paced and comes with ever developing requirements, which you as a developer would be required to help design and engineer solutions that innovate within that environment. This will include understanding AI principals with data manipulation and transformation, prompt engineering, and model validations as we look to build up high quality solutions. You will be applying the software engineering rigour, ensuring proper processes and best practises are followed accordingly. Your main duties will include designing and implementing new features, optimising and maintaining existing code, and ensuring the software meets high-quality standards through testing and debugging. You will also work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the software meets user needs. You will work on state-of-the-art technology that leverages the Generative AI capability to help our customer modernize their current application by assisting them to analyze, Refactor, Transform, and validate the modified application.Required Technical and Professional Expertise :- 8+ years of Industry experience.- Strong compiler development skills, especially familiarity with program analysis: static analysis information, abstract syntax trees, control flow graphs, and variable dependency analysis.- Java programming skills a strong asset.- An aptitude for low-level programming.- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across a team.- Understanding of AI principles around generative AI an asset.- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to architect solutions across multiple components (breadth) in additional to hands-on implementation of efficient solutions to hard problems (depth).- Experience with Agile development methodology. Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise : z/OS, COBOL skills an asset. (ref:hirist.tech)
