About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Python Developer to join our team. - You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our business needs. - You will be a problem-solving champion, tackling complex requirements and optimizing system performance.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Identify the most efficient and maintainable approach to fulfill requirements while ensuring system stability.- Drive discussions and take ownership of partially defined problems, proposing and driving solutions toward implementation.- Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and contribute to improving code coverage within the codebase.- Continuously analyze and optimize system workflows to enhance performance, response times, and memory efficiency.- Refactor and remove outdated code elements to streamline the system and make way for new features.Qualifications:- Minimum of 3 years of experience building backend systems using Python.- Strong understanding of Python programming language, data structures, and algorithms.- Experience in designing and implementing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.- Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring delivery not only of your own work but also by identifying dependencies and collaborating for completion.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on finding optimal solutions.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, while also being a team player.- Openness to learning and continuous improvement, welcoming feedback and suggestions from diverse stakeholders.Bonus Points:- Experience in the Fintech domain and/or B2C product development- Understanding of software design principles and best practices.- Experience building backend systems using Python and Django framework.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).- Experience working on products with a large user base (1 Million+ Daily Active Users) (a plus).
