Description:
Big 4 is hiring for Patch Management role for Bangalore location on C2H basis for 12 months with a possibility of extension1. Work with operations vendor for patch implementations (vendor does full implementation) and be updated on the implementation.2. Understand the current patch management process for clients and servers and assist in improving the overall patch management process within3. Working with Vulnerability Management Office on identifying risks and working with LoB/server owners to agree on risks and actions.4. Support Patch management service manager to access the monthly5. Microsoft Patches and help in recording the decisions made6. Work with Security Office and with system/service managers to prioritize any ad hoc patches released by the vendor.7. Automate patch deployment processes wherever possible to streamline operations and minimize downtime.8. Maintain accurate documentation of patch management activities, including patch status, deployment schedules, and compliance reports.9. Coordinate with stakeholders, and other teams to ensure successful project outcomes.10. Monitor vendor advisories, security bulletins, and patch releases to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.11. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to patch management and cybersecurity.Desired Candidate Profile:1. 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of experience in patch management.2. Proven experience in patch management, vulnerability management, or system administration.3. Strong knowledge of patch management tools and technologies, such as Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, or similar solutions.4. Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, such as CVE, CVSS, NIST, or CIS Benchmarks, is desirable.5. Strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.6. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), SQL Server, Databases and network infrastructure7. Excellent communication skills8. Fluency in English written and spoken.9. Committed and responsible.10. Ability to operate and achieve results in an international IT operation.11. Strong analytical skills.12. Ability to work under high time pressure. (ref:hirist.tech)
