What your day looks like:Execute standard operating procedures designed to ensure platform security and availabilityRecommend and implement improvements towards standard operating proceduresExecute planned stories where the implementation is straightforwardParticipate in platform architecture development discussionsWork with members from rest of the engineering team and customer successWork with vendor support teams to solve issuesWhat are we looking for:Experience in conducting and managing security auditsGraduate/P.G. with Computer ScienceCapturing and analyzing TCP trafficExperience in Routing, switching, subnets, VPN, NAT, Installing packages, Configuring services, Managing service status, Debugging disk issues, Debugging service startup issues, CI/CD using Code PipelineCan communicate effectively and articulate issues with other team members and vendor support personnelAn understanding of HTTP headersKnowledge of PM2 process managerExperience or working knowledge of provisioning and managing infrastructure as code with Cloud Formation or Terraform in productionHands on experience on AWS to GCP (and vice versa) migration and knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud offerings/services (MUST HAVE)Experience or working knowledge of packaging and deploying application with docker using ECS or KubernetesExperience or working knowledge of automating and supporting build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo or TeamCityExperience or working knowledge of managing a monitoring system to monitor service healthExperience or working with HTTP web servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Jetty etc) An understanding of least four of the following network conceptsGood to have:AWS and/Or GCP cloud certification will be an add-on.
