About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining backend applications using Java Spring Boot and a microservices architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions on the AWS cloud platform. This is a long-term project where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our product development lifecycle.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain backend applications using Java Spring Boot.- Implement robust and scalable microservices architecture for complex business functionalities.- Develop and maintain well-defined APIs to facilitate seamless communication between services.- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines leveraging AWS services.- Participate in code reviews, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements to maintain code quality.- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure application uptime and performance.- Create clear and concise technical documentation for developers and future reference.- Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives following Agile methodologies.- Work collaboratively with other developers, designers, and product managers to achieve project goals.- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java Spring Boot and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.- Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture.- Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.- Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines (ideally in the AWS cloud) using tools like Jenkins or equivalent.- Strong understanding of version control systems like Git.- Familiarity with project management tools such as Confluence or Jira (a plus).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
