Key Responsibilities : Threat Detection and Analysis :- Monitor computer networks and systems for suspicious activities or security breaches.- Analyze security incidents to identify the root cause and extent of the damage.- Develop and implement strategies for threat detection and response.Vulnerability Assessment and Management :- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.- Recommend and implement solutions to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen security defenses.- Keep abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities and update security measures accordingly.Security Infrastructure Management :- Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software.- Deploy and maintain encryption technologies to protect sensitive data in transit and at rest.- Monitor security logs and investigate security incidents as needed.Incident Response and Recovery :- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.- Lead or assist in responding to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners during incident response activities.Security Awareness and Training :- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to promote best practices and mitigate human error.- Keep employees informed about the latest cyber threats and security trends.Compliance and Risk Management :- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's assets.Security Policy Development :- Develop, review, and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines.- Enforce security policies and standards across the organization.
