Job Description :We are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience with Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark, Kafka, Cloud Native solutions, and Data Lakes. This role involves working in a customer-facing, post-sales capacity, focusing on technical architecture and consulting. The candidate should also have substantial experience in the Databricks ecosystem and be proficient in Python or Scala.Key Responsibilities :Big Data Architecture :- Design, implement, and manage scalable Big Data architectures using Apache Spark, Kafka, and Cloud Native solutions.- Develop and maintain robust data lakes to support analytics and data management needs.Customer Engagement :- Work closely with customers in a post-sales capacity to understand their needs and deliver tailored Big Data solutions.- Provide technical architecture and consulting expertise to ensure successful deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions.Databricks Ecosystem :- Leverage the Databricks platform to design and optimize data processing pipelines.- Utilize Databricks features and capabilities to meet customer requirements and improve data workflows.Coding and Development :- Write and optimize code in Python or Scala to support data integration and processing tasks.- Develop custom solutions and scripts to automate data workflows and improve efficiency.Cloud Platform Expertise :- Work across multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to design and implement cloud-based Big Data solutions.- Ensure that data solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective across different cloud environments.Documentation and Communication :- Create detailed technical documentation and whiteboard solutions for both internal and customer use.- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders.Skill Development :- Continuously build and enhance skills in technical areas that support the deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions.- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Big Data technologies and cloud platforms.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience :- 10+ years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Cloud Native solutions, and Data Lakes.- 6+ years of experience working independently on Big Data architectures.Technical Skills :- Strong experience in the Databricks ecosystem.- Proficient in coding with Python or Scala.- Experience working across Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).Soft Skills :- Excellent documentation and white-boarding skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work effectively in customer-facing roles, delivering technical architecture and consulting services.Personal Attributes :- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
