Description:
As a Data Architect, you will be the driving force behind our data strategy. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust and scalable data architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our data infrastructure supports the company's growth and analytical needs.Skills : 1. Proven experience in data engineering, ETL development, and data pipeline management.2. Strong expertise in data architecture design, and database management. Strong understanding of data modelling techniques and tools, including ERD (Entity-Relationship Diagrams) and data warehousing concepts.3. Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions. 4. In-depth knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud). 5. Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices. 6. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices.Responsibilities :1. Architecture Design and Planning:- Develop and maintain robust data architecture designs that align with business objectives and scalability requirements.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to support data architecture goals.2. Data Governance and Security:- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.- Implement data security measures and best practices to safeguard sensitive information against unauthorized access or breaches.3. Data Engineering and Management:- Oversee the end-to-end data engineering process, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval.- Design and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data flow across systems.- Manage databases and data warehouses, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.4. ETL Development and Data Integration:- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate data integration from diverse sources.- Work closely with data engineers to streamline data workflows and automate repetitive tasks.5. Data Quality and Performance:- Define and implement data quality standards and metrics to measure and improve data accuracy and reliability.- Monitor data performance and troubleshoot issues related to latency, throughput, and scalability.6. Cloud Platforms and DevOps Practices:- Leverage cloud platforms, particularly Azure, to build and deploy scalable data solutions.- Implement DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment of data-related applications and services.7. Collaboration and Leadership:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.8. Documentation and Version Control:- Document data architecture designs, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.- Utilize version control systems to manage codebase and track changes across data infrastructure components.Qualifications: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information management, or related field. - About 10+ years of experience in the industrial domains in an Architecture role, with at least 5 years' experience as a Data Architect.- Experience in Metals, Mining and Commodity trading is a definite plus.
