Role : Data Engineer Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL and Snowflake, with a passion for transforming and optimizing data pipelines. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our organization's analytical and operational needs. Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and Snowflake. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions. - Optimize data models and database performance for efficiency and reliability. - Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering. Must-Have Skills : - Proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and optimizing relational databases. - Experience with Snowflake data platform, including data warehousing and querying large datasets. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating data pipelines. - Knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for building and deploying ETL packages in SQL Server environments. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in data engineering or related roles. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
