About the Role:We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in data engineering principles and experience working with data pipelines and tools.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.- Utilize scripting languages (Python, SQL) and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi) to automate data workflows.- Work with various data sources (databases, APIs, flat files) to extract and integrate data.- Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure its quality and usability for analysis.- Design and implement data models for efficient data storage and retrieval in data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and build solutions.- Perform data quality checks and monitoring to identify and resolve data issues.- Participate in the development and implementation of data security best practices.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and tools.Requirements :- 1-4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.- Strong programming skills in Python and/or SQL (familiarity with other scripting languages is a plus).- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).- Understanding of data ETL processes and data pipeline development.- Familiarity with data quality principles and data cleaning techniques.- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies in the data engineering landscape.
