Summary & Role Information: You will be responsible for key database deliverables and to drive escalations and act as a technical specialist in the area of performance and troubleshooting of SAP HANA. Your role will be SAP HANA/MSSQL senior specialist. You will be SPOC for strategic customer contact from technical standpoint for SAP HANA/ MSSQL. You would need to collaborate closely with our problem management team, incident management team, warroom, technical architecture team, service engineering and discuss about potential performance issues with Development and de-escalate the situation. You will have the opportunity to get exposure on the largest databases and largest scale-out systems available among customers, systems on different hyperscalers like Azure, AWS, GCP starting from 64GB to 24TB. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MS / MCA fulltime Experience (Role requirements) 8 - 10 years of database expertise and at least 5+ years experience on SAP HANA/ MSSQL. Deep technical understanding in SAP HANA Database/ MSSQL Experience in DB installation, upgrade, planning, and implementation. Experience in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis. Strong technical knowledge in Backup and recovery strategies, System Copies, High Availability and disaster recovery scenarios, Replication knowledge is must. Knowledge in performance troubleshooting and optimization. Well organized, willing to learn and own the topics and share the knowledge with the team. Willingness to take on-call duties and contribute to operations. Understanding of different hyperscalers would be an added advantage. Ability to drive escalation to closure by engaging with different stakeholders Must Have Skills: MSSQL 2022 knowledge Replication (AlwaysON, FailoverCluster, LogShipping, Transactional Replication) Backup & Recovery, Performance troubleshooting, Service Architecture, Encryption General incident, troubleshooting skills, team work and collaboration. Good to have skills: SQL Programming skills Power shell skills Hyperscaler experience MSSQL on Linux knowledge Agile Meet Your Team: We are responsible for Global Database operations in ECS.Our team is spread across the globe Bangalore, Pune, Romania, Germany and Mexico.
