SQL DBA Location : Bangalore Qualification : BE/BtechExperience : 10 to 15 Years (SQL DBA) Package : 25 LPA to 30 LPA Location : Whitefield Bangalore KA (Onsite) Industry : Information Technologies Job Type : Full-time (Onsite) Preferred candidate from - IT Shift : US Shift Preferred immediate or 15-day joiner candidate.Job Description :Key responsibilities include :- 10 to 15 Years of Experience as a DBA- Having Experience as Core DBA (SQL Server) as well as Application DBA (Performance Tuning, working with Dev team, etc.)- Manage SQL Server database, Configure and maintain database servers and processes- Monitor system 's health and performance and troubleshooting problems- Ensure high levels of performance, sustainability, and DB security- Capacity planning and monitoring database growth.- Experience in setting up MS SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions including failover clustering, replication, log shipping, and database mirroring- Demonstrated expertise in SQL server, database tuning, and server administration- Having exposure to SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS performance tuning and Job executions are advantageous.- Experience in handling multi-terabyte OLTP, DR, and Data Warehouse production environments.- Expertise in the maintenance and performance tuning of databases and data marts.- Hands-on experience in Day to Day SQL Database maintenance activities. - Reviewing the Activity logs and troubleshooting the errors.- Knowing configuring managed disks, unmanaged disks, and Log Analytics. - Knowing storage accounts and storage replications.- Good Knowledge on DB configuration, setting up Indexes, Optimization, etc.- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.- Provide suggestions for solutions.- Excellent Written and Verbal communication Skills.- Client-facing role with end-to-end ownership.
