Job Title : Database LeadExperience Range : 5 to 7 YearsLocation : RemoteShift Timings : 1 PM - 10 PMRole Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in MariaDB/MySQL and experience with relational database management systems. You will be responsible for optimizing database performance, designing and maintaining database structures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires someone who is up-to-date with the latest trends in database technologies and has a good understanding of time series databases.Responsibilities :Database Management :- Demonstrate strong proficiency in MariaDB/MySQL and other relational database management systems.- Optimize database performance by fine-tuning queries, indexes, and data storage strategies.Database Design and Development : - Design, develop, and maintain databases, including data modeling, schema design, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.Performance Tuning and Optimization :- Implement best practices for query optimization and database performance enhancement.- Continuously monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.Technology and Trends :- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in database management and architecture.- Apply new knowledge and techniques to improve database systems and processes.Time Series Database : - Utilize working knowledge of time series databases to manage and analyze time-series data effectively.Prerequisites :Qualifications :- BE/B Tech/MCA/M Tech or equivalent in a relevant field.Skills and Experience :- 5 to 7 years of experience in database management with a strong focus on MariaDB/MySQL.- Proven experience in optimizing database performance, including query and index tuning.- Good understanding of data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.- Experience with time series databases is a plus.- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Additional Information :Shift Timings :The role requires working during the 1 PM - 10 PM shift to align with business needs.
