About the Role :We are seeking a skilled and experienced ETL Developer to join our team and play a vital role in building and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in IBM DataStage and related technologies to design, develop, and implement efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL jobs using IBM DataStage Designer.- Extract data from various source systems, including databases and flat files.- Perform data transformations and aggregations to prepare data for analysis in the data warehouse.- Load transformed data into the data warehouse using efficient data loading techniques.- Optimize DataStage jobs for performance and ensure efficient data processing.- Conduct thorough unit, performance, regression, and integration testing of ETL jobs to ensure data quality and consistency.- Troubleshoot and debug DataStage jobs to identify and resolve issues promptly.- Analyze error tables and take corrective actions to address data quality problems.- Experience with job scheduling tools like Control-M is a plus.- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate ETL tasks and processes.Qualifications :- 4+ years of relevant IT software development experience (Technical-Developer) using ETL technologies.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IBM DataStage, IBM Information Analyzer, SQL, and UNIX/LINUX.- Strong understanding of data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.- Proven ability to design and develop complex data transformations and data flows.- Experience with data quality control and data cleansing techniques.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with data analysts, database administrators, and other team members.
